Interzum 2007 fulfills high expectations - Dürkopp Adler satisfied with course of the fair

Dürkopp Adler, the leading manufacturer of sewing technology for the home upholstery and automotive industry, gives a positive summary of the Interzum 2007. The world’s most important trade fair for furniture production and interior works was held on the Cologne exhibition site from May 9th to May 12th.

„We have clearly confirmed our position as market leader in the segment home upholstery and automotive at the Interzum 2007“, says Dietrich Eickhoff, Manager Sales & Marketing of the Dürkopp Adler group. „Especially the new models of the M-Type series attracted a great deal of attention.“

On an area of approx. 300 m² the company located in Bielefeld presented more than 30 exhibits, among them 14 novelties as e.g. the M-Type post bed machine class 868 and further upgraded models of the M-Type series.

All important customers on the spot

During the four exhibition days all important customers of the segments home upholstery and automotive as well as the sales partners from the relevant regions were present. The trade visitors who had come to Cologne mainly from the European neighbouring countries and Eastern Europe showed much interest in the M-Type series. Above all, the M-type long arm machines with an underarm clearance of 500 and 700 mm were in the focus of attention. Also the new M-Type post bed machine met with great response.

Aim achieved

With the presentation of innovations as well as further models like the pattern stitcher class 910 and the machines from the in-house Application Center Dürkopp Adler has reached its goal. „Our objective was to present ourselves as the strongest manufacturer of sewing technology in the segments home upholstery and automotive“, resumes Dietrich Eickhoff. „We have achieved this aim. The Interzum has sustainably proven that due to outstanding features and unique technical parameters our range of products in the technologically demanding premium segment is unrivalled.“

Also standard segment well assorted

However, Dürkopp Adler does not only concentrate on technical innovations and premium solutions. Also as far as the standard segment is concerned, the company presented machines attracting wide interest. Dietrich Eickhoff: „It has always been and will remain our ambition to meet the requirements of our customers completely. This means that in all respects we are in a position to offer them the optimum products for every application.“
