Successful presentation of Dürkopp Adler at the IMB 2009 - World of Textile Processing

The textile processing industry's leading trade fair, which was held in Cologne from April 21st to 24th, has become a complete success for Dürkopp Adler. With more than 80 exhibits, thereof 48 novelties on a booth of more than 700 square metres Dürkopp Adler presented the largest and most innovative product program of sewing technology.

Great response of the trade visitors
The presented novelties and solutions have been well-received by the trade visitors of the segments garment manufacturing, technical textiles, automotive and home upholstery. During the four exhibition days all renowned customers of Dürkopp Adler were present at the booth. The positive feedback was also reflected in form of several customer orders, which have been received during the fair. Representatively should be named a project order from India of approx. 800 TEUR. Conclusion: With the high number of visitors, the higher-than-average quality of the contacts made as well as the high quantity of qualified inquiries the expectations with regard to this exhibition have been exceeded considerably.

Dürkopp Adler wins one of the IMB Innovation Awards
As part of a festive award presentation ceremony at IMB 2009, Dürkopp Adler could receive one of the coveted prizes of the IMB Innovation Award 2009. Awarded was a programmable decorative lockstich machine which enables a nearly unlimited variety of decorative seams also on three-dimensionally shaped workpieces.
