An electronically controlled needle thread tension guarantees perfect buttonholes in just many kind of material. The automatic cutting force optimisation drastically extends the life time of buttonhole knives. For the first an integral sewing light is being used, enabling easy identification of markings even on low contrast material. The approved Dürkopp Adler operating concept ensures an extremely easy programming of all parameters - for a perfect buttonhole. The semi - submerged machine head offers an optimum view into the sewing area in a fatigue-free seating position. Furthermore the new 559 is characterised by smooth running even at top speed, low maintenance and ease of servi-ce.
