Pucker-free seams - in innovative and difficult fabrics

 

 

New, innovative fabrics are conquering the market increasingly raising problems as regards the processing of seam. The 273-140432 with puller feet offers another possibility for the pucker-free processing of innovative materials. Supplementary to the bottom feed here the material is systematically tensioned during the sewing process by means of the additional intermittently operating puller, thus producing a pucker-free seam. This feature is of particular advantage when sewing long, straight seams e.g. on front plackets of back yokes. The machine can very easily be converted to a bottom feed machine by swivelling the puller out of the working area by hand.
