Dürkopp Adler on SPESA EXPO 2010 - Expectations have been exceeded

Dürkopp Adler gives a positive summary of the SPESA EXPO 2010. The leading trade fair for the sewn products industry in America with main focus on the apparel industry as well as the manufacturers of automotive and home upholstery and technical textiles was held in Atlanta, USA from May 18th to 20th.

"The high number of visitors as well as the several highly qualified talks have exceeded our expectations. During the fair you could feel a spirit of moving ahead. Many customers expressed their plans to extend their production and to invest in new production means. Hence the show was held at the right time", resumes Patrick Weissgerber, President of Dürkopp Adler America, Inc..

Dürkopp Adler presented in total 20 exhibits for the target groups garment, automotive and home upholstery as well as technical textiles. In the field of garment manufacturing, the eyelet buttonhole machines of class 580, the lockstitch buttonhole indexer class 540 and the pocket setter class 806 have been in the center of interest.

For the area of upholstered goods and technical textiles manufacturing Dürkopp Adler presented 12 machines, thus following the new concept of the show. Most of the showcased machines came from the very successful M-Type platform. Among them, the longarm version of the flatbed machine class 867 attracted a great deal of attention. Another highlight for the filter manufacturers was the cylinder arm machine of the M-Type class 869 with an extended, 1,000 mm (39,5'') arm and a step motor driven, revolving drum for improved material feeding.

The showcased product range and the appealing presentation of Dürkopp Adler was appreciated by many visitors. Patrick Weissgerber: "The choice of machines on display exactly met the requirements of the visitors. We are very confident that the contacts made will lead to good business in the next weeks and months and we want to thank all customers and visitors for their attendance on our booth!"
