Launch of face mask sewing automat

The Corona pandemic still dominates the everyday life of people worldwide. More than 13 million confirmed cases of the virus are known so far. Many governments have therefore required wearing a mouth-nose protection in public, which had a positive effect in many places. Nevertheless, the need and demand for face masks remain high. Dürkopp Adler therefore offers a face mask sewing automat for serial production.
The automat combines three machines and can be controlled by only one operator. It includes fabric supply from rolls, automatic nose wire supply, fabric folding station, ironing station, cutting station, and binding attaching left and right. A touch display ensures intuitive operation.
In total, the sewing automat produces 3000 face masks per eight hour shift. (subject to production according to manufacturer´s specifications)
