Serging of trousers parts in practice is fraught with problems - far too often the cut edges are trimmed unintentionally. This results in unacceptable dimensional deviations for the garment. The ideal solution is provided by the two head serging unit class 1365. It is the best solution for achieving the highest quality standards and profitable productivity. The programmable fullness control for a uniform fullness distribution in the upper or lower fabric layer works constantly and reliably.

The 1365-7 is a twin-head overlock unit
The trousers is completely serged in one operation, i.e. also the hem, seat curve and the vent curve can be integrated in the operation. Even trousers with knee lining can be processed without any problems: Both workpieces are fused by means of an adhesive tacker (optional) and serged without displacement with the desired fullness in the knee lining.
1365-7 Kneelining application
The twin-head overlock unit with optional adhesive tacker for efficient processing of front trousers with cut-to-size knee lining. The required fullness in the knee lining from below is distributed via the programmable differential bottom feed automatically.
The knee lining is fused with the upper fabric by means of the adhesive tacker. The trousers inseam is positioned at the 1st sewing head and the sewing operation starts automatically. The fabric is automatically guided and sewn and then transported to the 2nd sewing head. The side seam is automatically serged and the fabric is stacked automatically after the sewing process.
The sewing unit 1365-7 with programmable differential top and bottom feed offers outstanding solutions for the rational serging of front and hind trousers components. It is excellently suited for different fullness amounts in knee lining processing and/or for processing stretch materials.
No material trimming
No material trimming – only protruding thread ends are cut – the dimensional accuracy of the parts is maintained.
Freely programmable seam sequences
Cross transport
Fully automatic stitching of the second seam by cross transport from head A to head B.
The 1365-7 is a twin-head overlock unit and can additionally be equipped with a third sewing head allowing a further increase in efficiency when processing the trousers hem.
High-quality Dürkopp Adler control technology
The sewing units are equipped with the “DAC classic” control system. All machine parameters are stored in the machine ID and are retained when the control system is changed.
High productivity through overlapped working method
Up to 3 trouser parts can be processed simultaneously on the machine. While one trousers panel is being overlocked at each of sewing head 1 and 2, the next trousers panel can be prepared on the loading table with the knee lining bonding station. A 100% overlapped working method is thus possible and offers a fully utilized machine running time.

Serging of trousers with kneelining
The 1365-7 can be optionally equipped with a gluing station for efficient processing of front pants with knee lining. The required fullness in the knee lining is automatically worked in via the program.
Performance examples in 480 min.
Serging front trousers with knee lining:
approx. 1,050 trousers (4 seams)
Serging back trousers:
approx. 2,700 trousers (4 seams)
Serging complete trousers with knee lining:
approx. 700 trousers (8 seams)
Serging complete trousers without knee lining:
approx. 1,350 trousers (8 seams)
Overlock fly/ seat and hem seam
With the 1365, preseams such as hem, seat and fly seams can also be overlocked in the automatic program sequence.
